We are Paint To Paper. This webpage is dedicated to the art of the 70’s. But as our page title suggests, we will feature sections dedicated to the beginnings of the art in the 70’s. Our first section will offer context to what was happening in the 70’s both politically and socially.This will help set the stage for our second section that will deal with political cartoons, propaganda posters and posters on women’s liberation.From there we will move on to the art movement sweeping the world. This movement was called Neo-Expressionism. We will also give a brief bio of an artist well known for this style, Georg baseline. Then last but not least, our last section will hold a brief tutorial on pointillism using text. Plus, featured in this section is a time lapse video of a piece of art made by one of our authors using the pointillism text.
